If you're having gate problems go to trouble shooting at the Mighty Mule web site. You can print off instructions and take them to the gate for troubleshooting. If you call service at Mighty Mule they are of little help. One told me that the replacement gate arm never went bad. After using their trouble shooting instructions I discovered the motor was shot, it had opened the gate overs 30,000 times over a eight year period.

We've had our gate opener for four or five years and out of the blue it stopped opening or closing and was blowing fuses. A quick call to MM tech support confirmed that the motor in the opener arm was bad. Other than sticker shock over the price of a replacement unit it was shipped quickly and installed in less than 15 minutes. It might just be my imagination but I swear the MM model opens faster than our old FM.

i wish i had known for another $100. i could buy whole system not warth price . specialy beings the arm wasnt the problem
