By A. Barnes
This lock works fine, however, as soon as I installed new batteries (4 AA), the battery indicator turned red after 5 minutes. I turned off the audible sound, replaced another 4 AA batteries, the indicator turned red again in 15 minutes. It just eats up battery in an unreasonable speed. Battery cost will be too high for daily use and I have to pass it.

By Got Ripped OFF!!!
They say this lock is with Z-wave Technology, but they did not send the Network module. The ONLY reason I purchased it was for the Z-Wave technology, I would have got the cheaper Z-wave locks knowing this. On the bright side though it locks automatically after you unlock the door. Amazon sent me a new Lock, and this time it said on the Box it included the Z-Wave network module. I implemented the unit and paired with a Vera 2. After upgrading the firmware to the latest rev on the Vera 2, it is working as advertised.
