Your "fire sale" price is the same as the MSRP on SureFire's website. They are not selling this flashlight for one thousand dollars.
I generally shop the net for info. and then come and buy through Amazon, but will not do that this time around due to this (third party) company's false advertising. I'm placing my order directly with SureFire.

Outstanding light. Very ergonmic. Crazy bright focused hot spot. Almost too bright as the reflection off a white wall in the house can be a bit dissorienting to the user.
The 70 lumen low setting was a good compromise for constant on time with long battery life. Hard to believe we used to think a 60 lumen Surefire 6P was rediculously bright 20 some years ago.
My only criticism is the hot spot uncharacteristically fuzzy around the edges for a Surefire. It doesn't degrade the usability, it is just I am used to the traditional sharp edges around the spot on my Surefire lights. I always saw this a mark of high quality and care in manufacturing of the LED / head unit.

I have two surefire flashlights. I have a smaller 200 lumen self-defense flashlight and I have this crazy one. I am so happy with both. This thing is really solid and it is super bright. I am going camping in a month and I'm excited to take this bad boy with me. I would highly recommend this quality product!!! :)
